About Rich McIver

Rich McIver focuses his practice on nursing home cases. In addition to representing clients, Rich McIver is an adjunct professor at the University of Houston, where he teaches a course on nursing home and medical malpractice litigation.

Nursing Home Litigation Experience:
Rich has successfully represented clients in matters involving nursing home abuse, nursing home neglect, assisted living abuse, home health abuse, medication overdose, nursing home falls, and nursing home wrongful death cases.

Driven by a passion to maximize his client’s financial return, and ensure that the negligence which has occurred does not happen to other nursing home residents in the future, Rich has been successful in obtaining financial recoveries and ensuring that nursing home’s improve their care for many Texas residents.

Personal:
A Houston native, Rich and his wife Holly call southwest Houston, Texas home. They spend their free time in Houston and Galveston, Texas. Rich and his wife Holly are involved in numerous charities including being Ambassadors for Texas Children’s Hospital, and participating in the Notre Dame Club of Houston.

Education and License:
Attorney Rich McIver received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame where he graduated with highest honors. He received his law degree with high honors from the University of Chicago, a nationally rated top-five law school. Rich McIver is licensed by the State Bar of Texas.
